This Lunch-Learn-Networking event kicks off our new initiative to engage newer Rotarians and Rotarians who have newly stepped into or are looking to take on a leadership role. Please register now to join us for an afternoon of food, networking, Rotary learning and exchanging ideas with your fellow district members. In addition, participants will help replenish essential groceries items in the Madison Baptist Church Food Pantry.
We understand from many of you that we need more district in-person learning and social opportunities. We also know that more than 40% of our district members joined Rotary in the past 5 years while we experienced a multitude of challenges. We would like to ensure that our newer members are thriving and to build a talented pipeline for future club and district leadership.
We hope to elevate our participants’ Rotary experience and achieve these positive outcomes at this event:
- participants met, shared experiences and exchanged ideas with other district Rotarians
- participants gained a better understanding of Rotary
- participants received actionable know-hows on membership and service
- district team learned about the needs and expectations of Rotarians and how we can provide more support and added value
- participants had fun, expanded their network and will bring enthusiasm and positive energy back to their clubs.
There is no registration fee. We ask each participant to bring a few non-perishable foods and personal hygiene items for donation. The following items are most needed: Rice, Beans of any kind, instant coffee, spaghetti sauce, mayonnaise, flour and sugar.
The venue has on-site parking and is accessible. This event is sponsored by the district and hosted by the Madison Rotary.
