District Annual Finance Review and Adoption

Pursuant to our District Manual of Procedure (MOP), Section 5.2, Annual Review*, a meeting has been scheduled for November 12 at 7PM via Zoom to review and adopt the 2023-2024 District Finances. Please note that advanced Registration is required for this meeting. Please click here to register for the meeting.
The 2023-2024 district finance reports provided by the 2023-2024 District Treasurer and Finance Chair were reviewed by the Internal Review Committee on August 23, 2024. The committee’s report was submitted to the 2024-2025 Finance Chair and subsequently to the Finance Committee on October 2, 2024. The Finance Committee at its October 3, 2024 meeting unanimously recommended that the 2023-2024 finance reports be distributed to all the district clubs for review and adoption.

These reports are also posted on the district website under “Member Information > District Finance” on October 10, 2024. The above process meets 1) the October 15 deadline and 2) the 30-day advance notification requirements as stated in the MOP.
Club President- If you (or your representative) are not available to vote at the Zoom meeting, please cast your club’s vote prior to the meeting by clicking the Voting Form link on the left. Please find your club, enter YES or NO and the date. Your entry will be automatically saved. “The DG must supply an annual statement and report of the District finances, prepared by the District Finance Chair and Treasurer, and reviewed by the Finance Committee, to each club in the District by October 15 of the completion of the DG’s term of office. The annual statement and report shall also be reviewed by a qualified accountant and the District Internal Review Committee. This annual statement and report shall be presented for discussion and adoption at a meeting, to which all clubs are entitled to have a representative attend and for which a 30-day notice has been given that the annual statement and report of District finances will be presented for adoption.”
