PHILLIPSBURG ROTARY CLUB TREE LIGHTING & SANTA VISIT
Submitted by Debbie Shelly (debbiejim01@gmail.com)

The Phillipsburg Rotary Club partnered with the Chamber of Commerce, the Town of Phillipsburg, the River of Life Church, NORWESCAP, and other local businesses to provide the families in our town an evening of fun and music. The mayor of Phillipsburg (also our Rotary President) Todd Tersigni flipped the switch to light the impressive tree which started our evening of events.  In addition to the children visiting with Santa, the Phillipsburg Rotarians then distributed goody bags which included a toy to about 400 children! Also available were: Hotdogs, hot chocolate, hats and gloves, blankets, coats, and cookies. Ten trees as well as gift cards were given away. Oh, what a night!

Also joining in yesterday’s festivities were members of the Elizabeth Kiwanis Club! Great to have them in attendance.
