RYLA is back for 2023. 
 
Unfortunately, as you know we are not able to conduct our own district’s RYLA at Drew University but our good friends in neighboring District 7490 have agreed to accept our students into their program.   D7490 has been running RYLA for 30 years and has an outstanding national reputation for having one of the best RYLA’s in the country.  The D7490  RYLA registration process is different than what we are used to so read/follow the registrations instructions carefully,  Ignore the May 1st registration deadline published on their website – D7490 has extended the deadline to May 31st to accommodate our RYLA students.
 
D7490 RYLA is scheduled to take place at Happiness Is Camping located in Hardwick, NJ.  This location is in our district area near Blairstown.  Dates are Sunday, June 25 to Wednesday, June 28th.  Drop off is between 7 and 9 am Sunday and pick up is Wednesday, 5:30ish.  Parents are invited to participate in the closing ceremonies beginning at 4 pm on Wednesday.
 
Here are the registration instructions:
  1. Rotary Clubs must register their students directly online.  Here is the registration URL  www.tinyurl.com/register-2023    This form is the preliminary registration.  Once this form is complete, and your payment is sent, Team RYLA 4790 will contact the student to complete the balance of information needed.  i.e. parent authorization to participate, waiver, medical form, Covid, picture authorization, etc.
  2. The cost for RYLA is $515 per student.  This covers everything the participant would need and experience during the RYLA week. Make your check ($515 per student) payable to Rotary District 7490 – RYLA.  Send to Dawn Marcano, RYLA Treasurer, 15 Mary Street, Lodi  NJ  07644.
